What is a Good Amount of Signatures if I want to get legislation Considered in my State?

if i want to write a letter about suggested legislation, how many signatures should i accompany that letter with like 1000? 2000+? what would be the standard lets say|||Usually the amount is set by districts or cities. but averages can run from 5K to 1.5 million names. Thats why organizations put out hundreds of people outreaching and gathering millions of votes or signatures for their ballot measures or agenda If its just a letter numbers speak loudly and the more the better to get someones attention...The squeaky wheel get the grease..|||Only one is needed, so long as the letter is accompanied by a LARGE campaign donation. Without that donation, not even thousands of signatures will get a politicians attention.
