What is the current legislation doing to remedy the financial crisis? ?

Examine the current crisis in the financial markets. Provide a historical time line as to the mechanisms and the institutions that bought forth this crisis. In doing so, explore the current legislation that is being offered to remedy the crisis, what does it do, and what are the chief complaints from its detractors in Congress? Target the legislation to answer this question and the committees in the U.S. House of Representatives that are responsible for crafting effective legislation.|||Well, the hope was pretty well sit out by the President and by the leaders in the House. But so far, it hasn't worked any magic.|||Stuffing their pockets full of our tax money|||The problem is that Dems in Congress wanted to allow every American to "live the American dream by being a homeowner" with the Community Act in the 70's. Gov't messed up Fannie and Freddie so we are trying to replace bad government with good government and it doesn't work and it never will.
