A topic on a piece of legislation for political science class?

I am enrolled in political science class and in that class we have to write a 10 page paper on a piece of legislation. First off what is considered a piece of legislation, and if anyone could help me find one that i can write a lot on i would very much appreciate that.|||Legislation can include bills, acts, resolutions, joint resolutions in the House and Senate.
